Bars - A casual listing of some places I have enjoyed drinking at

The J-Bar at the Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado just a cool place to have a few. Dr. Hunter S. ran his campaign for Sheriff of Pitkin County out of this bar. One of my favorites.

The Green Parrot Key West. New rule, if a photo is involved, yeah I like it a lot. The Green Parrot in Key West, I like a lot. Great dive bar with a great jukebox.

The tiki bar at the Ocean Tide Beach Resort San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize.  We rented a house just a short distance down the beach from this place. We contracted all our snorkeling activities with Patojo Paz owner of the resort and dive center.

The Stage Stop in Rollinsville, CO gets a photo. Not so rough and tumble as it once was. Just five miles from my old house, and with only one deputy on duty in the county, well you know.

Alabama Jacks I worked on Card Sound Rd in the early 80's and have stopped here plenty of times afterwork.  Do yourself a favor, when heading towards the Keys, just before you leave Florida City (right after the tackle shop on the right) veer left off of useless 1 onto Card Sound Rd and take the long way to Key Largo--Stop at Jacks.

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar Jackson, WY

Crooked Creek Saloon Fraser, CO. Sundays after duck hunting we would stop to watch the Bronco game.

Gray's Coors Tavern Pueblo, CO Gray's = Sloppers. A slopper is burger- grilled bun served open faced in a serving boat and smothered in green or red chilli. 

Gus' Place for best over all bar food and schooners - go for the Dutch lunch.

Klamm's Shell on Northern The best dive bar in Pueblo . 

John's Dock Racine, WI. Downtown on the River - Closed - lost their lease

Popeye's Lake Geneva, WI.Yeah it is a tourist bar, but its a good bar. Great Bloody Marys

Curly's at Lambeau Field, nuff said.

J. Brian's Tap Room    I like J Brian's, food is consistently good, the pizzas are a treat.

The Sunken Well I really like the Sunken Well for lunch -- early afternoon. Good beer good sandwiches. They close early. 

Colonial Tavern home of the Irish Brigade. I don't go here enough.

Spirits Upstairs--dive bar, dive bar, dive bar, dive bar. Really, it is a dive bar. Kind of like it.

Capital Ale House Downtown Fredericksburg

Hard Times Cafe  One on the west side of downtown, one at four mile fork. Both have good beer, good burgers and good chili.
