Salzburg Austria - Sound of music anyone?

We visited Arenal Volcano region, Monteverde Cloud Forest Region, and the Pacific Coast north of Jaco. Had a great time, we rented a car, driving in and of itself is an adventure. We would love to go back.

Yeah, we snorkeled in Icleand. This was our second visit, doubt it will be our last. Easy to get to from the East Coast.

Surprised the Bakers on this cruise. James, Carma, Sally and myself booked the cruise and never told the Bakers, we even got cabins right next to them. We boarded before they did, and then watched them sit at the bar (of course). We sent over a bucket of beer then walked up to the table. Was fun, they had no idea.

We stayed at the Almond Bay Casuarina Beach Resort which is near Saint Lawerence Gap. For anyone a nervoustraveling abroad, Barbados is for you. A former British Colony is a great tourist destination. Tourism is appreciated and tourists are treated pretty well.

Cancun Riu Caribe Hotel and Isla Contoy. Spent a wonderful week with the kids in Cancun. The Riu Caribe is located at the north end of the resort zone. In my opinion just far enough away. Cancun has a terrific bus system which runs up and down the strip at frequent intervals, cheap, easy and safe. Easy to get down to the tourist shops and restaurants

Aktun Chen Natural Park. Had a really good time on the zip line. This particular zip line was more like a course, multiple lines throughout this "Natural Park" and cenote area. So, you zip line around, end up in an enclosed area with deer, fowl, etc. and have lunch. Then it is on to a cenote and cave. Pretty cool really. This was a couple hours south of Cancun and while touristy, it was far enough out of the way that it was not crowded.

Yeah, Roatan. Go there.

Solheimajokull Glacier. We were able to enter the glacier through this cave. The colors were amazing especially the blues.

This album contains many of the magnificent water falls we saw. Our camera suffered a malfunction during the trip and the photos came out with different tints, fixing the photos pretty much sucked.

We stayed at Sandos Caracol just north of Playa Del Carmen. At the time it was probably a quieter resort. Still is by comparison to some of the larger resorts in the area.

Was a nice destination, not as touristy as Chichen itza

Fast becoming a tourist town

What a wonderful vacation. Circumnavigated the Bay of Fundy ending up at the Maine Lobster Festival.
