We built this pond as an extension of the deck.

The pond began as an idea for a home to four .29 cent feeder goldfish. The first summer the fish lived in the blue water feature you will see in the photos. The first winter we bought an aquarium so the fish could over winter in the house.

The next summer the 4 fish went back out to live in the water feature. As winter approached Sally decided she really didn't like the aquarium set up in the house.

Before winter we built this pond so the four .29 cent feeder fish, could over winter outside. Bottom line is that this pond was built to over winter $1.16 worth of feeder goldfish.
